Luis Carchi | CTO - Shield

is a technology entrepreneur and the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Shield, a fintech focused on enabling cross-border payments using stablecoins. Luis was born in Cuenca, Ecuador, but was raised in the United States. 

Luis is a Princeton graduate and formerly spent 3 years on Facebook‘s product team. He also ran an electronics import business from US to Ecuador, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges Shield’s customers face.

His work has been featured in TechCrunch, Miami Herald, Forbes Ecuador, CoinDesk and El Universo.
